About Me

Hello, I am Aleksandra Kusiak, I obtained my Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2011 from the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. Since then, I have gained extensive experience treating acute and chronic injuries in both public and private practice settings, including over eight years of clinical experience in Poland.

I have been practising as a physiotherapist in Canada for the past five years and am a Registered Physiotherapist in British Columbia. I specialize in manual therapy, combining hands-on techniques with individualized treatment approaches to support recovery and improve function. My clinical interests include spinal pain, head and neck injuries, and running-related injuries.

Having spent several years teaching at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, I value education and helping patients better understand their conditions. I take an empathetic, patient-centred approach, believing that trust and open communication are essential to successful treatment outcomes. My goal is to help each patient return to their daily activities and the things they enjoy most.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors through hiking and skiing, and running is one of my personal passions. As an active runner myself, I understand the demands of running and the importance of proper training, injury prevention, and recovery. I enjoy helping runners manage running-related injuries and return to running safely and confidently.

I am fluent in both English and Polish.
